Import / Export

Handling and Forwarding cargo from / to World-wide Origins to Bahrain destinations through our network of agents abroad. Our services By Air or Sea Freight includes liaising with Suppliers to monitor shipments Booking, the collection of cargo from the Supplier Exworks up to FOB Airport & or Seaports, Customs Export Documentation, Legalization of Documents. Dispatching shipping documents to destination with notification To Consignee of the shipping details.

Warehousing and Storage

Mars have bulk storage facilities within Bahrain equipped with personnel & lifting Equipments, offering the storage facilities for different periods & logistics Services to many of our clients.

Heavy Equipment

Mars makes light work of transporting heavy equipment. The company has invested in a fleet of heavy duty trucks, fork lifts and cranes to lift or off-load bulk shipments or containers. The trucks have a capacity to operate up to 24 tonnes and can also be used for shipments to the GCC as a quicker and more economical alternative to sea or air transport. Mars can also offer its heavy equipment on rental basis to customers, for example, if there's a construction project in the GCC, equipment like fork lifts or conveyor systems can be delivered directly to the site.

Less than Container Load (LCL) Cargo

The company accepts general cargo or personal effects for shipments by sea through less Container Cargo consolidations. Only a part of the container need to be booked for greater economy. Cargo can be sent to almost any part of the world.

Full Container Load (FCL) Cargo

Full Container Load service is also offered for shipment to majority of the ports around the world. 20 ft, 40 ft and other internationally -accepted sizes of containers are available to carry frozen food, perishables and consumables.

Mars also handles FCL inbound by releasing the delivery orders direct to the consignees, as well as LCL export consolidation to Europe, USA and the Indian sub-continent.

As a professional cargo handling company, Mars offers a wide range of value added services. These include Customs Clearance, Insurance and Sale of Packing Materials.

Customs Clearance

Mars has on-site experts dedicated to Customs Clearance. On behalf of the customer, the company handles all documentation and other formalities relating to import and export of goods. After all, the objective is to deliver your goods in the quickest possible time.

Insurance

Mars undertakes to insure all shipments based on the total value estimated by the customer. Should any damages occur, either partially or fully, on the insured items, the corresponding value can be claimed form the insurance company.

Sale of Packing Materials

To assist our customers before transporting their goods, Mars offers a wide range of packing materials such as cartons in various sizes, corrugated rolls, air bubbles, plywood boxes, masking tapes, plastic and steel warps, buckles and clips. These are available at special rates to our customers and we also accept bulk orders.

Commercial Packing of Goods

Mars can offer customers assistance in commercial packing upon their request. Packing is done by experts and great care is taken to protect the customer's valuable items from potential damage during transportation.
